Peter Storn began his professional journey in Los Angeles, where he played in various club bands and participated in studio sessions with artists like Irene Cara, George Johnson (from Brothers Johnson), and David Williams (from Michael Jackson). After spending six years on the road with a Rock/Dance/Variety band, he moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where he collaborated with several groups across diverse styles. His work included Pop/Rock/Alternative with '1933,' Funk/R&B with Jamtrak, Contemporary Jazz/Smooth Jazz with Cliff Sarde, Jazz with Dennis Rowland, and Country with 'House of Steel,' featuring steel guitar player Mike G. Smith (known for his work with the Gatlin Brothers, Judds, and Jerry Reed). He was also part of one of Pam Nelson's earlier Country/Classic Rock bands, Sedona Crossing.
Under his own name, the Peter Storn Project, he focused on Jazz and Contemporary Jazz, releasing two CDs, with a notable highlight being a 10-day tour of Mexico.
Peter contributed to two of Cliff Sarde’s albums, offering original compositions for each, one featuring pianist Russell Ferrante from the Yellowjackets. A collaboration with Cliff Sarde also earned them a Rocky Mountain Emmy Award for film music for the PBS special 'Visions of Arizona.'
Additionally, a writing and recording side project with Thaddeus Rose yielded several songs that found placements in popular TV shows such as 'The Mentalist' on CBS and on MTV.
In recent years, Peter has performed and toured with several Tribute Shows, playing live music that celebrates the works of Brooks & Dunn, Garth Brooks, the British Invasion, and The Beatles.
